Deutsches Schauspielhaus
This architectural gem, which stands near the Hauptbahnhof in St. Georg, is the largest legitimate theater in Germany with 1200 seats. Its celebrated opening took place on September 15, 1900. Today it remains one of the leading German theaters, dedicated to both classics and modern dramatizations. In addition to the main stage, there’s a new stage for young people’s productions at a second location in Altona.
