European Film Promotion to sponsor Producers’ Lab in Hamburg

PRODUCERS LAB HAMBURG is a networking event for a group of ten aspiring producers from across Europe and ten counterparts from Hamburg (Germany), which will be held on October 1 and 2, 2014. This programme is being organised for the first time by European Film Promotion and Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein (FFHSH) in collaboration with the Creative Europe Desk Hamburg within the framework of Filmfest Hamburg.

The goal is to facilitate and increase international co-production and intensify the networking between the participating professionals. During two days of seminars, pitching sessions, one-to-one meetings and a Hamburg location tour, the participants will have opportunities to exchange ideas and know-how as well as discuss the potential for concrete co-production.

The members of EFP will be selecting ten producers from the group of former PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE participants, while the Hamburg-based producers will be chosen by Filmförderung Hamburg-Schleswig-Holstein and the Creative Europe Desk in Hamburg. All of the participants must have a track record of successful project development and production as well as concrete interest in collaboration. The call of proposals has already been completed.
